As July heads to a close, Google has released the fourth and final beta of Android P before the public release is launched in August with OTAs currently rolling out. Beta 4 (DP5) is targeted at both developers and enthusiasts with Google saying that it exhibits ‘Final System Behaviors' and includes the official Android P APIs.

Google has given the Beta 4 the title of ‘Release Candidate,' which means that it should be stable for daily use without major issues. If you've held off on signing up to the Android Beta Program, this is a great time to jump onboard. As per usual, the Beta 4 is available primarily for the original Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL, with other participating brands following later on. Beta 4 is already available for the Essential Phone with the company having announced its availability shortly after Google, which is mighty impressive.
If you've already signed up to the Android P Beta Program, you can expect your Pixel or Pixel 2 handset to notify you that the OTA is available although you can skip the wait and download the OTA image to flash manually if you just can't wait.
