Google's Files Go app updated with interface tweaks 3

Google's own lightweight file manager, Files Go, has received yet another update. There aren't many new features to talk about this time, but Google has tweaked the interface to make your file management a little more fluid.

The biggest and most logical change in the interface is the switch to a standard hamburger menu on the left side of the app instead of the three dots in previous versions. The functionality hasn't changed much, but the slideout menu feels way more modern and in-line with Google's current design standards. Otherwise, though, you'll still find pretty much the same content in the app.

The navigation tabs are a little more concise now, with a tab for “Clean” and a tab for “Files.” Previously you had “Storage” and “Files,” which, to most users, probably sounds a little confusing and doesn't really clarify how Files Go can help you manage and clean up clutter on your device.

They're small changes, but welcome ones. The update is already live on the Play Store.
