In case you somehow missed it, we are getting very close to the release of of a huge MARVEL Avengers movie that claims to be the biggest “crossover” in cinematic history. With so many characters coming together for the theatrical release, it only makes sense that something similar would be done in the gaming market. Thus we have MARVEL Strike Force hitting the Google Play Store this week. Released by FoxNext Games, Strike Force is a strategic role-playing game that gives players the ability to play as their favorite MARVEL superhero – or super-villain if one is so inclined – in a battle to save the planet against a common enemy.
Strike Force starts out by having players form a squad chosen from the most popular heroes and villains that have appeared in recent years as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some of the available characters include Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Loki, Elektra, Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Groot or Rocket Raccoon. Once a player puts together their team, the spend some time upgrading the members of the team in preparation of ever bigger battles.
Once one goes into battle, which involve five versus five groups, players will be able to do things like create chain combos of their own moves or pair up members of their team to leverage individual moves as part of a bigger combination.

Strike Force is available now in the Play Store and is free, although in-app purchases are available.
