The OnePlus 6 is probably the next device that we’re most excited about, and the leaks have been pretty steadily flowing in for the past few weeks. We’re getting another excellent look at the OnePlus 6 in the wild today, including the specs and how much it’ll cost.
We were already expecting a notch at the top of the screen from a previous leak with a screenshot, but now we know that the device will utilize a 6.2-inch display, slightly up from the OnePlus 5T. That probably won’t translate into usable screen space since most of that will be at the very top, so it’s a safe bet that the physical size of the device will be similar.
The user from Weibo also managed to capture a chart of the OnePlus 6’s specs against its toughest competition, further clarifying what kind of hardware to expect. That chart confirms the OP6 will launch with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a Snapdragon 845 CPU, plus a dual-camera system with 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors.
The chart also shows the price of the OnePlus 6 as $749, which seems pretty expensive even for flagship standards. However, that chart lists the price of the iPhone X as over $1500, while the price in US dollars is actually $1149. So yes, that price tag is pretty scary for a OnePlus phone, it will likely normalize when you adjust for different currencies.
We’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
