A handful of images of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 6 has been posted online, showing off both the front and back of the upcoming handset.
This latest leak comes by way of serial leakster OnLeaks as well as online mobile phone publication uSwitch. If this leak does resemble the Galaxy Note 6, even the untrained eye will notice that it's almost identical to the Galaxy S7 Edge.

As far as design goes, there truly aren't a whole lot of difference. The Galaxy Note 6 obviously has the S-Pen slot, but the one other intriguing thing is that it seemingly looks like Samsung has ditched the traditional micro-USB slot and replaced it with USB Type-C charging.

uSwitch is reporting that the Galaxy Note 6 will sport a display between 5.7 and 5.8-inches. The publication also notes that users should be able to unlock the device simply by looking at it, which would be in line with a recent patent filing by Samsung.
It's likely that the Galaxy Note 6 will see a larger battery as well, likely a bump up to 3,700mAh. But, then again, Chinese social networking website Weibo is saying to look out for a massive 4,000mAh unit.
We're also not quite sure what this new Galaxy Note will actually be called. The Galaxy Note 5 was last year's model, indicating that the Note 6 would be this year's variant. However, Samsung is looking at skipping over the Note 6 naming convention and just calling it the Note 7.
