During an interview with The Telegraph, HTC CEO Cher Wang finally disclosed the pre-order date for the Taiwanese company’s much-anticipated Vive virtual reality headset. The device will be up for grabs on Monday, February 29, with the first batch of units leaving the warehouse and arriving at customers doors in April.
This news comes just one week after HTC took the wraps off its second-generation VR hardware, the Vive Pre, which is set to touch down in 7,000 developers hands later this month. The aim of this release is to ensure that there’s sufficient content available when the production model starts shipping.
