We already heard a rumor that LG might be readying a LG G2 Mini, and now reports out of Korea suggest we might get an LG Gx, which is sort of a G2 with a larger 5.5-inch display. That in itself, doesn't seem all that crazy, but the report suggests this new Gx would “replace” the G2. The LG G2 has only been out for a few months, so I wouldn't expect it to get replaced that quickly. If you remember, last year LG launched the Optimus G in the fall of 2012 and the Optimus G Pro in the spring of 2013. So if LG were to announce this phone, I would expect it to be an additional handset just like the G Pro was.

The second part of this rumor is that it will sport the Snapdragon 600 as opposed to the 800 that is in the G2. I guess it's possible that this report might have mixed things up with the mini because I wouldn't be shocked if they went that route with the smaller device. However, LG did promise that all G series phones would get the Snapdragon 800.

The rest of the rumored specs include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 13MP camera, and slightly bigger battery than the G2, 3140mAh.

I guess it's possible that we might see this device and/or the Mini at CES, but I am thinking more like Mobile World Congress.
