We already showed you the six custom watch faces that Motorola pre-installed on the Moto 360, but you might not know that you can further customize them using the Motorola Connect app. This app was only available for the Moto X and DROID devices, but they have opened it up to other Android devices since not everyone with a Moto 360 will own a Motorola phone.
Assuming your Moto 360 is already paired to your phone using the Android Wear app, just open the Connect app and you will immediately see your 360 displayed on the screen. Tap on that, and you will be given a few options. Just tap on “Watch Faces” and you will be able to select any of the pre-installed faces to customize. Right now the options are a little more limited than I would like, but I assume Motorola will update the app down the road.
For starters, you can change the background color of each face to either black or white, as well as change the accent color. The accent color is usually the second hand, but is might include a little more for certain faces. Some watch faces offer a little more customization like Dials, which lets you set the smaller faces for different cities across the world. Classic lets you choose either basic numbers or Roman numerals. It's always fun to customize so give it a shot.

There are a few other things you can do with the Motorola Connect app. You can also setup your wellness profile to get more accurate wellness data from the pedometer and heart rate monitor. You can input your height, weight, gender, and birthdate. Along with that, the app will track the location of your watch so you will be able to see its last known location if you misplace it. It's also compatible with the Motorola PowerPack keychain, which will help you find your phone if you misplace it. Lastly, Motorola Connect allows you to send and receive SMS / MMS messages from your Chrome browser. You can download the app below.
