The Oppo Find X6 Pro is a high-end smartphone that was released earlier today at an event in China. It has a number of features that make it a top-of-the-line device, including Qualcomm's newest 8-series processor, a large and vibrant AMOLED display, and a long-lasting battery with ultra-fast charging. And, as you may have guessed from the camera bump, an exciting array of 50MP cameras on the rear panel that will take your photography skills to the next level. At least, if Oppo decides to release the Find X6 Pro outside of China.
The Oppo Find X6 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is the fastest processor available on the market. This processor allows the phone to run demanding apps and games with ease. The phone also has 12/16GB of LPDDR5x RAM plus 256/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, so the user experience should be pretty slick.
There's a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels, 510ppi, and 2,500nits peak brightness. It also has a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, and is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The 5000mAh battery should easily last a full day on a single charge but when it's time to top up, there is 100W SuperVOOC fast charging which can charge the phone from 0% to 100% in 30 minutes. There's also support for 50W wireless SuperVOOC charging.
The Find X6 Pro has a triple-lens rear camera system with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto sensor, plus the benefit of Oppo's self-developed MariSilicon X imaging processor and Hasselblad's camera expertise. The main camera (IMX989) has a 1-inch sensor which allows for more light and detail to be taken, while the 50MP telephoto lens (IMX980) is a periscope lens that is capable of up to 120x digital zoom and 6x hybrid zoom with ‘full optical quality'. Hasselblad's Portrait mode aims to reproduce the renowned XCD30 and XCD80 lens formats from its traditional cameras. The 50MP ultra-wide camera also takes care of macro lens photography from as close as 4cm.
The Oppo Find X6 Pro also has a 32MP front-facing camera, which is basically the same as previously seen on the excellent Find X5 Pro.
As you might expect from a 2023 flagship smartphone, the Find X6 Pro sports full IP68 water and dust protection.
Finally, the Find X6 Pro comes in green (Feiquan Green) and black (Dark Cloud) colorways with a polished glass construction, both of which look pretty standard. The big news is the return (finally!) of a vegan leather finish which provides an appealing two-tone effect of aluminum and brown vegan leather on either side of the big circular camera housing. The brown vegan leather (Desert Silver Moon) finish is striking to the eye and makes the Find X6 Pro the best-looking phone of 2023 so far.
The Oppo Find X6 Pro could be a great smartphone for anyone who is looking for a powerful and feature-rich Android device that isn't made by Samsung or Google. It has a large, vibrant display, a long-lasting battery, and a high-powered triple-lens camera system. If you are looking for a top-of-the-line smartphone, the Oppo Find X6 Pro is definitely worth considering, but only if it gets released in the west or you are willing to import it via a third-party retailer.

I wish they would make the Rear Camera automatically rotate whenever you shoot video into the proper landscape aspect ratio for proper wide screen displays instead of this moronically shooting every damn thing as if it’s a selfie that looks like crap on anything other than the phone its shot on! It really looks amateurish when you watch one that only fills 1/5 of the screen & the rest is either completely blank or half of a fuzzy image of the areas your missing from shooting videos in selfie mode! Rule of thumb is anything you shoot video of on the rear camera is always going to be of something that will always look better in landscape because it fills the screen with as much of the scenery as possible!
Not going to happen unfortunately, we can blame the likes of Insta/SnapChat/TikTok for that. It would be a nice option though.
