Realme is a brand that has been pretty quiet over the past few months but now we have news that it's launched a new budget-minded handset. Called the Realme 10, the new phone is powered by the Helio G99 chipset, a 90Hz AMOLED display, and 33W fast charging, all for $229.
Besides being powered by MediaTek's Helio G99 chipset, the Realme 10 features 4/6/8GB of RAM and a choice of 64/128/256GB storage.
The 50MP main camera (Samsung JN1) provides an enhanced Night Mode with ProLight technology which reduces noise and increases shutter speed by 121%. A 16MP selfie camera sits in the punch-hole cutout on the top left corner of the display.
Unusually for this price point, the Realme 10 features a 90Hz AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution which will really improve the viewing experience. On the flip side of this, because the Realme 10 is powered by the Helio G99 it is limited to 4G/LTE connectivity. That's right, 5G support is not present. There is a 3.5mm audio port though as well as an UltraBoom speaker which allows users to enjoy Hi-Res audio at 200% volume.
The Realme 10 launches running Realme UI 3.0 (Android 12-based) and will launch globally in selected markets.
