Having launched its flagship Magic 4 Pro earlier this year, Honor has today teased a new foldable smartphone called the Magic Vs which will launch on November 24th.
For the moment, details on the Magic Vs are scarce so it's unclear which processor is powering the foldable, nor what camera setup it has. But. With Qualcomm set to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the next few days during its summit, I'm inclined to posit that the Magic Vs could be powered by the new chipset.
When it comes to foldable smartphones Samsung has sewn up the segment for all intents and purposes. Oppo, Motorola, and Huawei have also produced foldable smartphones but other than the Moto Razr they weren't launched in the west. While Honor is launching the Magic Vs in China on November 24, hopefully, it may actually make it to the west and give us an alternative to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4.
