A week ago we noticed the LTE version of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 pop up in Verizon's inventory system and now we are seeing the device pass through the FCC. According to the FCC report this new tablet should be pretty much the same as the Wi-Fi version except for the addition of the 4G LTE and CDMA bands. The tab sports a 1280 x 800 Super AMOLED display with 1080p HD playback, dual-core 1.4GHz processor, 3MP camera and runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
Hopefully this thing will be as thin as it's Wi-Fi counterpart because at 7.89 mm, this could be one of the best tablet options available for those who dont like a 10-inch screen. It's very posible that the device ends up being a little thicker in order to accomodate the new LTE radio but I don't imagine a huge increase if that were to be the case. Either way, we will keep you posted as soon as we hear more.
