![ice-cream-sandwich-nexus [Rumor] Verizon Nexus/DROID/Samsung Prime to release November 3rd and AT&T Nexus Prime to drop November 24? 4](https://www.talkandroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/ice-cream-sandwich-nexus-300x142.jpg)
We know the Nexus Prime is going to be the best phone available this year. We recently reported a slew of rumors about the device, but at this point, all I really want to know is when it will be available. Our favorite Panda (@black_man_x), who has a history of giving us information through riddle-like poems, has given his latest poem to Tom Fleming (@tfleming123), and he is releasing it bit by bit. So far he has released the following:
While things that go bump in the night, surely give you a fright, It’s all in good fun as I share treats and panda fun. So Instead of filling your belly with candies, jellies and other hollows eve fare, perhaps your palate will cast a ballot, for an ice cream sandwich instead. With an internal date now set and LTE a sure bet Those that get Tim Cook’s new pet will be filled with green eyed regret. But wait you cry for what date can you buy? This the panda did shall share…Fore on the date Bruce Wayne’s true father did die; you shall in fact be able to buy in stores of red and black.
This is only part of the poem, and more will be released shortly since he just hit 1,000 followers. We are not sure what will be revealed with the remaining part, but the release date has already been revealed as it states that the date will be when Bruce Wayne's true father died. Right now the theory is that it's November 3rd because that is the date that Bob Kane died. Who is Bob Kane? He is credited as the creator of Batman. Interesting enough, he wasn't necessarily the official creator, but the dates for the other possibilities don't line up with the October/November timeframe. It so happens that November 3rd is a Thursday. Verizon usually releases phones on Thursdays, and he clearly states that it will be in stores of red and black.
He also mentions that we should expect LTE and Ice Cream Sandwich, which is not a surprise, and if you buy the iPhone 5 you will be regret it, also not surprising. I have no doubt that the Panda has the right information as he always has. The real question is if the riddle/poem has truly been solved. If you can think of any other answers please let us know.
The rumors have been all along that the Prime will be released on Verizon first with other carriers to follow. IBT is reporting that they expect it to release on AT&T this November 24th, which happens to be Thanksgiving. They refer to the device as the Google Nexus 4G, which doesn't make any sense, but their rumored specs seems to be in line.
