Smart home specialist Dreame Technology has announced the general availability of the X60 Max Ultra Complete, its most advanced robot vacuum to date—and notably its thinnest. Measuring just 7.95cm (3.13in) tall, the new flagship is designed to solve one of robotic cleaning’s most persistent problems: the dust, pet hair, and debris that collect under low furniture and rarely get touched.
First revealed at CES 2026, the X60 Max Ultra Complete combines an ultra-slim chassis with AI-powered vision, extreme suction, and fully autonomous mop maintenance, positioning it firmly at the premium end of the robot vacuum market.
Built to eliminate under-furniture blind spots

Low-clearance spaces under beds, sofas, and cabinets have long been a weak point for robot vacuums. Dreame’s answer is VersaLift Navigation, a system that physically retracts the robot’s sensor module when it detects tight spaces.
Once lowered, LED-illuminated cameras take over, allowing the X60 Max Ultra Complete to maintain full spatial awareness even where traditional LiDAR-based robots simply can’t fit. The result is consistent coverage in areas typically skipped, without sacrificing navigation accuracy elsewhere in the home.
AI vision that reacts in real time

Navigation is handled by Dreame’s AI-Enhanced OmniSight™ System, which uses dual 120-degree cameras to deliver faster decision-making and more precise movement. Dreame claims navigation speeds up to 200% faster, with obstacle response times as low as 0.1 seconds.
Complementing this is Proactive Illumination Dirt Detection. Infrared-enhanced sensors detect pet hair, fine debris, and even light-coloured liquids, automatically adjusting suction and cleaning behaviour. Instead of running a fixed routine, the robot adapts on the fly based on what it actually sees.
Flagship cleaning power, despite the slim design

Even with its low-profile body, the X60 Max Ultra Complete doesn’t dial back on performance. Dreame has packed in some of its most aggressive cleaning hardware yet.
Suction reaches 35,000Pa via the Vormax system, targeting deeply embedded dirt across carpets and hard floors alike. The upgraded ProLeap System enables the robot to climb obstacles up to 8.8cm (3.47 in), making thresholds and room transitions far less of a challenge.
For hair management, the HyperStream Detangling DuoBrush 2.0 is designed to reduce wraparound while maintaining strong pickup—particularly important for long hair and homes with pets.
Mopping is handled by a dual-omni scrub setup spinning at 230 RPM, supported by Dreame’s ThermoHub mop self-cleaning system. Using 100°C (212°F) hot water, the dock sanitises the mop pads automatically, reducing odours and minimising manual maintenance.
Designed with pet owners in mind

Pet ownership is a clear focus for this generation. Dreame’s Pet Care 4.0 system introduces an industry-first dual-solution compartment that stores separate liquids for floor cleaning and pet odour elimination.
Combined with the robot’s high suction, intelligent dirt detection, and detangling brush system, the X60 Max Ultra Complete aims to tackle fur, dander, and lingering smells in a single automated routine—without requiring constant intervention from the user.
Pricing and availability
The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete is now available in the US for $1,699.99. It can be purchased directly from the Dreame Store or via Amazon.
Verdict
The X60 Max Ultra Complete isn’t about incremental upgrades. By aggressively targeting low-furniture cleaning while retaining flagship-level suction, AI navigation, and fully automated mop hygiene, Dreame is addressing real-world frustrations that have lingered for years. It’s an unapologetically premium robot vacuum, but one that justifies its price by cleaning the places most others still ignore.
