Symantec, long-time provider of Antivirus and Security suites on the PC, announced today that their latest endeavor, Norton Mobile Security Lite, would be released for free on the Android Market to those in need of an antivirus solution.
The lite version offers the same trusted protection as that of the full version, but blocks the recovery features such as remote wipe or lost phone location. The full version comes with many other capabilities like malware and phishing protection, SMS and call blocking.
