Amazon has announced a new lineup of Fire TV devices with Amazon Alexa+. The new devices come in the 2-Series, 4-Series, and the premium Omni QLED Series. The flagship Omni QLED model is 60% brighter than before, and now has better local dimming. It can even detect when someone enters or leaves the room using Omnisense technology.
All models are now available for preorder, with an official release expected next month. Alongside these TVs, the company is also releasing the Fire TV Stick 4K Select. It's their most affordable 4K streaming stick yet, and it's priced at $40.
Big screen that doubles as artwork
The Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED Series uses Quantum Dot technology (QLED) to produce richer, more vivid colors than a regular LED TV. It also supports all the top HDR formats, including Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10, and HLG. The TV has full-array local dimming with 48 zones that independently adjust brightness to make dark scenes look deeper and bright scenes more detailed.

It comes with Amazon’s Fire TV Ambient Experience, a mode that turns your TV into a digital art display when you’re not watching. You can choose from over 2,000 artworks, display personal photos, or use widgets like weather, calendar, or to-do lists.
There’s also an AI Art feature that allows you to ask Alexa to generate artwork with your voice. For example, you can say “Alexa, make me a watercolor of a cat surfing”. The TV runs Fire TV OS and gives you access to over 1.8 million movies and TV episodes across apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Max, YouTube, and more.
You can control it completely hands-free with Alexa and use other smart home functionalities, such as controlling your smart bulbs or making video calls through the assistant.
The TV comes in sizes ranging from 43 to 75 inches. It has four HDMI ports, including an eARC port for connecting soundbars or home theater systems, and supports Dolby Atmos for immersive audio. It’s compatible with Alexa Home Theater, which means you can wirelessly pair Echo speakers for surround sound. Pricing starts at $480.
Amazon has cheaper big screens available too
Amazon's Fire TV 2-Series and 4-Series are more affordable options in sizes from 32 inches up to 55 inches. Pricing starts at $160 for the 2-series and $330 for the 4-series. The 2-Series shows HD (1080p) resolution, while the 4-Series upgrades it to 4K. Both models have ultra-thin metal bezels, and are 30% faster than previous versions because of their quad-core processor.

Amazon is also proud to add Omnisense technology. Your TV can adjust brightness or color temperature based on your environment. Another new addition is Dialogue Boost, a feature that raises only the voices in movies or shows without increasing background sounds, so that the conversations are clearer.
If you already own a regular TV, the new 4K Select Stick should help you save costs and turn your existing device into a smart one. Simply plug it into your HDMI port, connect to Wi-Fi, and stream Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, and more.

It's still worth getting if you have a smart TV and want a more organized viewing experience than your built-in TV’s system. You'll access the new Vega OS and Alexa+ features. Picture quality reaches 4K with HDR10+ and it'll soon support gaming via Xbox Cloud and Amazon Luna. Pricing starts at $40.
