In the United States, most of the mobile network traffic goes through the big three carriers: T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T. However, for things to be a bit more competitive, the market allows for MVNOs, which are networks that operate on the infrastructure of one of the big three, yet run their own separate brand.
Mint Mobile is a good example, and it runs on T-Mobile's network (though it was later bought up by T-Mobile, but that's not the case for all MVNOs). Mint might not be the biggest player in the market, but it would really like you to give its services a try. How about a deal giving you its best plan, for a full year, at only half the price? Not bad.
Mint Mobile Is Offering Its Unlimited Plan, With No Data Cap, at Half the Price for a Year

Mint Mobile is an MVNO that doesn't just operate on T-Mobile's network, but is owned by the giant carrier as well. What that means is that you're able to get the same great service that you might be used to with T-Mobile, but with more barebones plans that are a lot lighter on your pocket. Keep in mind that they're all prepaid plans though, which means you need to fork over the money at the start of your billing period.
If you're fine with that though, then Mint Mobile would really like for you to give its service a go. The MVNO's top offering is its Unlimited plan, and under normal circumstances, to prepay for a 12-month period, you would need to drop the equivalent of $30 every month—$360 in total. That's somewhat reasonable, most might say, especially for truly unlimited data.

However, with the current deal that Mint Mobile is running, you will be able to get the 12 months of the Unlimited plan, with these in mind:
- $180 paid upfront, 50% the regular rate
- Equivalent to just $15 per month
- Options for physical SIM card or an eSIM
This deal is only available for new customers, but that shouldn't be surprising. The whole reason it exists is entice potential customers in other camps to give the carrier a try.
Mint Offers Other Prepaid Plans, But the Unlimited Plan Is Great for Most

If an Unlimited plan is beyond your needs or the cost is too much for you, Mint Mobile has other plans that you can explore. How much you pay depends on whether you're prepaying for three months, six months, or twelve months. However, regardless of the plan that you choose, you'll get 5G data, unlimited talk and text, and coverage across the United States using T-Mobile's network.
The table below will give you a quick low-down on Mint Mobile's current upfront prices per plan and duration. However, I'm opting to use the company's regular pricing per plan, as it has quite a few offers running (especially for new customers) that could potentially skew how things seem, but you can always check its website to see its current deals!
| 5GB | 15GB | 20GB | Unlimited | |
