They might not get the accolades that they deserve, but OnePlus makes some of the best-value flagship tablets in the game. The OnePlus Pad was great, but the OnePlus Pad 2 was better, improving on that first tab in most major aspects. For those who have never cared about flagship tablets, the OnePlus Pad Go provides a very solid budget option.

Well, there's good news for all lovers of OnePlus tablets, as it seems that the company might be gearing up for another entry in that segment, and likely a sequel to the OnePlus Pad Go. From the looks of things, it'll come with a significant performance upgrade, but that likely means a higher price tag too.

A New OnePlus Tablet Should Be Arriving In The Near Future

I don't personally consider myself to be much of a tablet person, but I can appreciate their utility for the right people. OnePlus might get a lot of hype around its smartphones, but it makes some really kick-ass tablets. That's why the moment I hear OnePlus Pad news, I get excited, and today, we're getting that thanks to a leak from Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

The popular leaker made a post detailing what he referred to as the “OnePlus Tablet Standard Edition” (though that's translated from Chinese). From the specs alone, it is clear that this isn't going to be the OnePlus Pad 3, as the chip of choice is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350. Other specifications are potentially OnePlus Pad 3-grade though.

There's an 11.6-inch 144Hz LCD with a 2800 x 2000. That's close to the standard of the OnePlus Pad 2, though the size is more like the Go model. The battery will also essentially be equal to the Pad 2—a 9,520mAh cell with support for 67W fast wired charging. The only major part more like the OnePlus Pad Go is the 8MP camera on the back.

This Is Very Likely To Be The OnePlus Pad Go 2

Just from this initial look, this tablet has a lot of things in common with the OnePlus Pad 2, which would make it seem like a likely successor, but the processor really lets it down if that's the role it is expected to take.

That's why it seems a lot more likely that it'll be the OnePlus Pad Go 2 (or the OnePlus Pad 2 Go, maybe?). It has great specs, but they aren't on a flagship level. A sequel to that great budget tablet definitely won't be frowned upon.

The Tablet Looks Set To Be A Rebrand Of The Chinese-Only Oppo Pad 3

If you're an avid tablet fan and you keep your eye on the various releases the world around, the spec sheet of this mysterious OnePlus smartphone might be a little familiar. That's because it's the spec sheet of the Oppo Pad 3.

This OnePlus tablet doesn't seem like it'll be incredibly original, but rather, a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 3 set for a global release. With that in mind, we can also predict up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 12GB of RAM, stylus support, and a mere 6.29mm profile.
