I often wonder if there are any decent names left for mobile phones, but somehow the manufacturers keep churning them out. HTC recently filed applications in Europe for the following trademarks:
- HTC Velo
- HTC Cheetah
- HTC Skyrocket
- HTC Titan
- HTC Raider
All five names cover anything from smartphones to accessories. Back in April we reported that HTC trademarked seven other names, of which are yet to surface. We recently reported about the HTC Vigor, which could be HTC's next flagship phone.
Is anyone digging any of these names?

Honestly I am sorry for what you experienced in this matter htc shouldn’t be punished because of the Thunderbolt THATS A POOR EXAMPLE TO USE. There are so many other devices made by HTC with great battery life

this clown is one (of 1,000’s) of pissed off thunderbolt owners. read any blog you like and you will see that every one is upset with the battery life. to that matter, htc’s always have horrible battery life. yes their sense is very nice, but it is a battery drainer. how can you say that htc gave verizon what they asked for. are you telling me that verizon asked htc to throw in a 1400 mah battery? when the evo 3d has a 1730mah battery! now if i made the mistake of signing a two year contract with greedy ass verizon, is not a matter to discuss, because i will change to sprint at the end of the two years. but i will not get an htc phone. even their windows phone 7 phone have horrible battery life. they just pack to much useless junk in their phones. all i am saying is that htc has a lot of catching up to do with samsung and motorola. besides, if you were a true android fan, and wanted to be in the “game” then you know that true android is, well, plain and simple, just bloatware free android. this is why Cyanogenmod is becaoming so popular. people dont want manufacture crap added on top of android.
You have to Actually be kidding me WHO’S THE CLOWN WITH THE ABOVE COMMENT??? Htc gave Verizon exactly what they asked for to the letter. All any manufacturer can do is make the devices according to the carrier specifications it’s up to Verizon to understand how the device will operate on it’s own network. I guess HTC told Verizon to charge 250.00 dollars also at best your comment shows total BLINDNESS. Verizon is GREEDY and there network at best REGARDLESS OF SPEED WHICH DOESN’T MATTER WHEN YOUR BATTERY LIFE IS 3HRS TOPS. The best device made by HTC today is the EVO 3D and trust me one of these future devices are the next iteration of EVO for 2012. Point Blank if your not rolling with an htc android device then simply your not in the android game properly…
it could be called the HTC 300 (like the movie) for all i care. i will never buy an htc phone again! the thundercrap is a piece of junk!!!!
