Oppo's Find X8 series is one of many flagships that we expect to see launched in October, and you know the drill: the closer a smartphone's launch gets, the more leaks that start popping out of the pipes.

Thanks to Evan Blass over on X, we've been able to get a very big look at the designs of the Oppo Find X8 and the Find X8 Pro. But not only that, but thanks to a leak picked up on Weibo, we also have a good look at the spec sheets for both of these devices. Let's talk about them.

The Oppo Find X8 Devices Look Similar, Though The Find X8 Pro Gets A Little Extra

The Oppo Find X7 Pro and the Find X7 with the vegan leather back were good-looking phones. They're the kinds you'll shoot a second glance at. There was a more plain Find X7 option with a purely glass back but placed beside the others, it wasn't quite a notable look.

Unfortunately, while the Find X8 devices change up the design a bit, they go for an all-glass rear that's arguably basic. However, I'll let you be the judge of that, starting with the Oppo Find X8. It has relatively rounded corners, a flat frame, thin bezels, and a circular camera module. There's a pink, white, blue, and black colorway, seemingly with a matte finish, with the latter two toting blacked-out camera glass.

On the other hand, there's the Oppo Find X8 Pro, which looks incredibly similar but has a few differences you might be able to spot with a keen eye.

First off, the corners are less rounded off than the vanilla model. The glass back also seems glossier, more curved around the edges, with a slightly more curved frame. It is available in a light blue, white, and black colorway; the latter is the only one with a black camera module. You might also notice there's a dedicated camera button on the Pro model but you won't find it on the other.

The Oppo Find X8 Devices Are Expected To Have Impressive Specs, Regardless Of The Model

The good thing is that we don't only get a glimpse at the Oppo Find X8 from the outside, but we also get a good look at what's on the inside, thanks to a leak of both devices' spec sheets (shoutout to 6GHz over on Weibo).

For the screens, the Find X8 is expected to have a 6.59-inch display while the Find X8 Pro pushes up to 6.78 inches. Both will have 4,500-nit peak brightness and 2,160Hz PWM dimming. Unsurprisingly, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is in the cockpit. You can expect a 16/512GB top configuration for the Find X8 and 16GB/1TB for the Pro model.

The battery in the X8 is a 5,630mAh cell and the Pro phone is just shy of 6,000 at 5,910mAh. Both will support 80W wired charging (a drop from 100W) and 50W wireless charging. The devices will share a 32MP selfie camera, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP 3x telephoto camera. However, the Find X8 Pro will add a fourth camera, which will be a 50MP macro telephoto with 6x optical zoom. Both phones will be IP68/IP69-certified.
