Honkai Star Rail 1.5 update is slowly drawing to an end, and although it has only been a little over a month since its launch, it would appear that the new Honkai Star Rail Update, version 1.6 is already on the horizon.
The upcoming Honkai Star Rail Update is titled Crown of the Mundane and Divine and will introduce a plethora of new content to the game so let’s take a closer look at what is in store for us.
Honkai Star Rail Update 1.6 – Release Date
The latest Honkai Star Rail Update 1.6 is scheduled to release at the end of December this year, more precisely, December 27 2023 which is also when the current version of the banner that features Argenti will end.
Honkai Star Rail Update 1.6 – Banners
It has been revealed in a trailer that new characters will be introduced with the Honkai Star Rail version 1.6 banners.
Included among them will be Xueyi, Dr Ratio, and Ruan Mei. It is also worth noting that Kafka and Blade’s banners will be making their return as well. Banners will be featured in two phases as follows:
Phase one
Ruan Mei – Five-star | Ice | The Harmony
Xueyi – Four-star | Quantum | The Destruction
March 7th – Four-star | Ice | The Preservation
Tingyun – Four-star | Lightning | The Harmony
Blade – Five-star | Wind | The Destruction
Phase two
Dr. Ratio – Five-star | Imaginary | The Hunt
Sushang – Four-star | Physical | The Hunt
Natasha – Four-star | Physical | The Abundance
Hook – Four-star | Fire | The Destruction
Kafka – Five-star | Electric | The Nihility
Honkai Star Rail 1.6 Light Cones
With the introduction of new characters, players can also expect to see new Light Cones as well. Ruan Mei’s Light Cone titled “Past Self in Mirror will be an excellent supplement for all support enthusiasts out there.
Its official lead description states: “Increases the wearer’s ATK, and after casting Skill, if the SPD of an ally is over 100, increases their DMG considering how many points exceed 100.
This effect can be stacked and lasts for a certain amount of rounds”. Dr. Ratio’s Light Cone will be called “Baptism of Pure Thought, however, we don’t have any details regarding it yet.
Honkai Star Rail 1.6 – Events
Honkai Star Rail 1.6 will also feature new events such as the Critter Pick and the Virtual Scentventure.
The former will revolve around the players hanging around the Hert Space Station and taking care of all kinds of critters that they will encounter.
The latter event will have the players take part in special tests that will induce hallucinations and allow them to challenge all kinds of Honkai Star Rail bosses again, but this time with additional buffs and game twists thrown in the mix.
Honkai Star Rail 1.6 – New Game Mode
The upcoming Honkai Star Rail update will also introduce a new game mode titled Pure Fiction.
Not much is known about this game mode at the moment, however, we do know that it will revolve around players fighting against waves of constantly respawning enemies.
They will also be able to select different buffs at the beginning of every phase and unlock new rewards as they progress.
