December could see the launch of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered flagship from Vivo which is called the X90 Pro+ which is rumored to sport a 1-inch camera sensor, LPDDR5X memory, and also UFS 4.0 storage. On paper, it would appear to be a powerhouse that could rival Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S23 flagship series.

We've reviewed a couple of Vivo phones over the years and have always been impressed by them for the most part. The brand's partnership with Zeiss is paying dividends for the camera department, and now it seems like Vivo is taking things forward to another level. According to Ice Universe, the X90 Pro+ will pack in a 1-inch main sensor alongside a new telephoto sensor that has a new telephoto algorithm. Sure, algorithms aren't exactly sexy but they do play an important part in processing images.

Elsewhere, we can expect the X90 Pro+ to feature LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a premium E6 display courtesy of Samsung.

Exact details on when Vivo plans to announce the X90 Pro+ are currently unknown, as is information about things such as battery size, charging speeds, and which version of Android it will run out of the box. All the same, we can't wait to find out more about the X90 Pro+, which we hope to see launch outside of China.
