Samsung's latest budget handset is the Galaxy A13 which succeeds the extremely popular Galaxy A12 from 2021. Packing in a 5,000mAh battery, 6.6-inch Infinity-V display, and Single Take camera feature, the Galaxy A13 is already available to purchase in the Netherlands with pricing starting from €189 for the 64GB variant.
As a sub-€200 handset, the Galaxy A13 offers a decent level of hardware with its 6.6-inch FHD+ display, Exynos 850 processor, and a quartet of rear cameras that includes a 50MP main sensor with the Single Take feature that first launched on the Galaxy S20 series. There's a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the 5,000mAh battery supports 15W charging. It doesn't, unfortunately, support 5G connectivity which is a shame considering that we are now in 2022.
The Galaxy A13 is certainly one of the cheapest phones to launch running Android 12 (One UI 4.1), and it should become available to buy in other regions soon although it's not known if it's going to be released in the US which already has the 5G variant on sale through AT&T.
