Having launched running Android 10 in 2020, it seems that the Android 11 update is now rolling out to the TCL 10L, which is great to see on a $250 handset. We've got the changelog for you after the break.
The Android 11 OTA was discovered by HDblog, coming in with a 2.8GB file size and build number v3.0.8BBH. The update brings a new version of TCL UI to the TCL 10L and should begin rolling out in other regions over the coming weeks.
Changelog
- Version upgrade to Android 11
- Optimization of system performance, Improved Daydream, optimized battery
- Added Memory Album feature to Gallery – features can be sorted by scanning AI
- Added Interface on lock-screen for quick opening of apps
- Added a split-screen function for Floating Window mode
- Notifications are less intrusive in full-screen mode
- Added hidden applications folder

If your TCL 10L isn't showing that the Android 11 OTA is available just yet, open up Settings, tap on System Update and give the old ‘Check for Update' button a press to see if you can prompt the server. Hopefully, it won't be too long before the TCL 10 Pro and 10 5G get their Android 11 updates.
