Say hello to the Mystic Red Galaxy Note 20 and the Mystic White Z Flip 5G 5

You've probably heard the old saying of “putting lipstick on a pig” before and while it isn't one we'd normally use in an article, it's rather appropriate in symbolic nature for Samsung's Galaxy Note 20, although some could argue that it's a tad unkind on the pig. It's no secret that Samsung's regular, and most would say, vastly inferior Galaxy Note 20 with its plastic rear panel, 60Hz display, and expensive price tag isn't doing well in the sales department. This has prompted the company's marketing machine to take action by dressing it up in a vivid new color – Mystic Red.

Other than the new Mystic Red colorway there's no change to the Galaxy Note 20; it's really a case of ‘it is what it is' which is just a blight on the Galaxy Note legacy. Sadly, the limited-edition Mystic Red color is restricted to the regular Galaxy Note 20 so don't go getting your hopes up of seeing the Note 20 Ultra getting a hot new exterior.

In other news, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is also gaining a new robe in the form of Mystic White, which looks pretty sweet if you are into the foldable thing.

The Galaxy Note 20 is currently reduced to $849, and it's a saving of $150 it's still over-priced in my opinion. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is stuck at its RRP of $1,449.99, which is a shame too, but at least you are getting a foldable smartphone and not the Galaxy Note 20. Both of the new colorways are only available from Samsung's online storefront at this time.
