It was just last week that a serial leakster revealed that HMD Global was in the process of resurrecting two more of its iconic handsets from yesteryear in the form of the Nokia 6300 and the Nokia 8000. Today, a different serial leaker has brought us a slew of images of the handset called Nokia 8000 4G which looks to have a rather svelte design and finish.
According to WinFuture, the Nokia 8000 will launch with a glass-like finish with curved edges, as you can see from the main image. Running on KaiOS, the Nokia 8000 4G is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 210 processor with a monstrous 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. MicroSD cards are supported. The 2.8-inch LCD display has a resolution of 320 x 240.
As you might expect, it won't be a photography powerhouse but it will have a 2MP rear camera. There are two slots for nano-SIMs with 4G connectivity, WLAN, and Bluetooth. A 1,500mAh removable battery is present which can be recharged via the MicroUSB port.
All-in-all, the Nokia 8000 4G is another typical resurrection of a classic by HMD Global, it certainly looks nostalgic thanks to its slick design. While it's an appealing handset of itself, just once I would like HMD Global to make a proper modern-day version of one of its iconic smartphones with at least mid-range specifications. Something like the N97 or perhaps the N-Gage would be an effort that stands out from the current style of smartphones. What classic Nokia would you like to see resurrected?

Aluminum Nokia E7 with Android and a good camera would be amazing. Keep the size at around 5″ and it would be amazing. Let the screen prop up so I can set it on the table on flights. I love that phone. Also OLED screen and light up button. That phone was gorgeous. Idk if they have the manufacturing capabilities anymore like the old Nokia had.
