Earbuds are great until you step off the underground tube and one falls out of your ear on to the tracks where it's pretty much lost forever. You are then faced with the choice of soldiering on with a single earbud, buying the same set in its entirety, or perhaps switching to a different brand and wishing you'd just bought the previous model. In the case of Mobvoi's TicPod ANC earbuds, though, this is no longer an issue because the brand has announced that you can now buy a single left or right earbud and even a separate charger case if you wish.
