First announced during CES 2020, Blurams Smart Video Doorbell with AI facial recognition, free cloud storage*, two-way audio, and real-time notifications, is about to go live on Indigogo. Projected to launch with an RRP of $149, the Smart Video Doorbell is available for $69 on Indigogo as part of the Launch Day Special.

Thanks to the built-in AI technology, the Smart Video Doorbell will recognize you when you get home and activate a routine that you've set with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Siri, and also IFTTT, turning on the lights or perhaps starting your favorite playlist. And if it isn't you at the door, but the person is recognizable, the doorbell can issue a customized message along with preset messages to people it doesn't recognize.
When it comes to installation, you've got the choice of getting the drill out and using the supplied screws to hardwire the Smart Video Doorbell so there's no need to use rechargeable batteries, or it can be installed using the supplied 3M glue which makes it a good choice for renters.
Key Features:
- Free cloud storage: 72 hours of free rolling cloud storage for life with 15-Day rolling storage of a one-month trial for every user.
- Automatic quick reply: embedded AI facial recognition and a set of prerecorded responses, Blurams doorbell can recognize visitors and respond in an appropriate way without the user speaking.
- Smart control: combined with the AI facial recognition and IFTTT, Blurams can literally see you arriving home and perform preset actions such as turning on lights, making a cup of coffee, or playing a playlist. It also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri.
- Optional charging: rechargeable battery or hardwired.
- Sound & light alarm: the red and blue lights alternate when being removed by violence or calling the police.
If Blurams' Smart Video Doorbell ticks the necessary boxes, choose the launch Day Special perk on Indigogo and pay a reduced price of just $69 instead of its RRP of $149, with shipping set to commence during December. Having already raised 245% of its $5,000 goal, It's important to note that this is a crowdfunding campaign and as such there are risks involved.
We've already received a unit to put through its paces, so keep an eye out for our review of the Blurams Smart Video Doorbell in the weeks to come.
