As we edge towards the weekend and a chance to chill, we've happened upon a great way to make use of your spare time in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead by way of a game that can only be described as a ‘timesuck'. We are, of course, referring to Football Manage 2020 Mobile, a game that lets you take charge of a soccer football team from one of 60 leagues around the world. Football Manager 2020 Mobile usually costs $8.99/£8.99 but is now available for just $2.99/£2.99 on the Play Store.
According to the blurb on the Play Store, you'll be able to scout the world's larger player database and assemble a talented squad which you'll then turn into superstars with your coaching abilities. You can pick a team from the lowest league to bring up to the top of the game or you can jump straight into managing one of the world's best teams such as Liverpool. There are apparently other ‘top' teams to choose from, but I am blatantly biased towards Liverpool.
Anyhow, I digress. Despite the reduction in the upfront fee, there still In-App-Purchases available to buy from within the game, so be aware of this when handing over your phone or tablet to someone to play with.
