Sling is trying to convince people to stay home with some free Sling TV channels, and they're calling it Happy Hour Across America.

Let's dive into some of the details.

Free Sling TV

This move is a part of the “Stay in and Sling” initiative, where Sling TV is letting users stream some free channels to keep people inside and entertained. This new move expands on that, but it's only for new customers.

To get started, head over to Sling TV's happy hour signup page and create an account. Then you simply sign in on any compatible streaming device, and from 5PM until midnight EST every day you'll be able to stream their blue package of channels for free. You don't even need a credit card.

That still gets you a lot of content, though, ranging from news channels, tons of movies and TV shows, and kid-friendly content. There's no Disney in this package, though; you'll probably want Disney+ for that.

This will presumably last until the social distancing measures become less necessary, but keep an eye out. Sling TV is also running a few other deals if you just want to sign up and get the full service.
