After launching its budget blockbuster F1 back in 2018, Poco went quiet during 2019 which lead many to believe that the sub-brand had shut down for good. This is not the case though, with Poco instead spinning off from Xiaomi as its own entity and prepping to finally launch a successor to the F1 called the X2 that will almost certainly sport a 120Hz display.
According to official tweets and website, the Poco X2 will feature a display with an ‘extreme' (likely 120Hz) refresh rate, an unspecified Snapdragon processor with a heat pipe, and Sony's IMX 686 64MP camera sensor. Seeing as the Poco X2 will be based on the Redmi K30, the Poco X2 will likely sport the Snapdragon 730G if it has 4G connectivity or the recently announced Snapdragon 765G if it has 5G functionality.
The website also states that the Poco X2 will be announced on February 4th which is just a few days from now. While it doesn't look like the X2 will be the budget-busting flagship that the F1 was with its Snapdragon 845 SoC, it's likely that Poco's new phone will be priced aggressively.
