As we start looking forward to Samsung's launch of their Galaxy S10 devices this spring, we have been mostly limited to renders of the devices so far. That has changed if pictures posted by German website AllAboutSamsung are accurate. They claim to show pictures of prototype devices giving us a good look at what Samsung has planned.
One item that will likely be controversial will be Samsung's hole in the display for the front-facing camera. Perhaps trying to set themselves apart just a bit while also maximizing the screen, Samsung is not doing a notch but they are doing a hole. As the images show and consistent with renders and leaks, the Galaxy S10 Plus actually gets a pill-shaped hole in the display, presumably to house a dual lens front-facing camera.

On the back side of the device we see the camera array sporting a triple lens configuration. Missing from the back is a fingerprint sensor, meaning Samsung has either finally figured out how to get that in-display technology working or they hid the sensor in something like the power button.

Audio may be a bit of a mixed bag for potential buyers. Images show the bottom speaker will not be front-facing, but instead is located on the bottom edge. So that will be a disappointment for anyone who likes their sound heading straight at them. On the other hand, it looks like Samsung has not yet abandoned the tried-and-true 3.5mm audio jack.

The images show two different colors for the Galaxy S10 devices – black and a silver color, which Samsung may actually name some version of white. There have been some rumors that Samsung has other color options in the works.
