The latest leak regarding the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones seem to confirm much of the information we have seen regarding the camera configurations for three of the Galaxy S10 models believed to be launching this spring. The renders are for cases from Olixar via retailer Mobile Fun, both of which are considered reputable sources. The renders reveal information about the front and rear-facing cameras for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10 Lite.

For the front-facing cameras, both the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Lite appear to be getting a single lens located in a small cutout floating in the upper right corner of the display. For the top-end Galaxy S10+, the device gets a larger cutout in the same location that sources think will house two camera lenses. Thus far sources are unsure whether Samsung might use a secondary lens for wider group selfie functions or use it to be able to provide better bokeh effects.

The case renders also show a large cutout for camera lenses on the Galaxy S10+ supporting inclusion of four rear-facing lenses and a total of six lenses in the smartphone. Whether the fourth “lens” really counts as such may be questionable as many sources believe it will be used for 3D-sensing uses to help Samsung step up the augmented reality features of the device. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy S10 appear to both be slated to get a triple lens setup for their rear-facing cameras.

Finally, some have noted that the renders of the case from Olixar do not include any cutouts on the back for a fingerprint sensor. That is leading some to conclude that Samsung will be implementing the in-display fingerprint sensor they have been working on for several years.
