Google Photos is among the most popular of Google's apps and it continues to evolve and improve. The latest feature adds location data to the right of date dividers as you scroll through your photos. Photos on the web has been doing this for a few months, but the feature is new to Android.
This update has been reported by a handful of users, but I can't see it on either of the two fully updated Android devices I have on hand. Apparently this is a very limited release and test from Google, but hopefully a wider rollout will happen soon. For those that can get it, you'll see the location beside the date dividers and if multiple locations exist on the same date, a drop down will show them (see below).
Have any of you gotten the update? Let us know.
