The two beta builds include the December Android security patch, some general bug fixes and improvements, an added OTG toggle in Quick Settings, and notification for when 3rd-party apps delete contacts. Other changes include:
OnePlus Notes app
- Take notes quickly and simply
- Share notes as a picture
- Memo widget on Shelf is editable
Quick Clipboard
- Enhanced copying and editing ability
Weather
- New weather widget
File Manager
- Added large files category
- Speed improvements while deleting massive files
If you've already signed on to the open beta program, you should receive the OTA update notification for the new OxygenOS firmware per usual. If you aren't already enrolled on to the open beta, simply head over to OnePlus to download and install the relevant open beta firmware for you OnePlus 3 or 3T handset when OnePlus makes them available.
