If you are more interested in keeping a few bucks in your pocket instead of having a superfast powerhouse processor and quad HD screen equipped smartphone in your pocket, then the Moto G4 Play may be the ticket for you. Our Justin Herrick recently received a unit for review purposes and took some time to put together an unboxing video for us, which you can check out after the break.

The Moto G4 Play is firmly in the budget phone segment of the market. Equipped with a Snapdragon 410 processor and a 5-inch display running at 1280 x 720 resolution, the device gets 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage which can be expanded to 128 GB via a microSD card. For photo purposes, the Moto G4 Play gets an 8 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. The device does get Lenovo's water repellent nano-coating for some limited protection against splashing liquids or rain and it comes with a 2,800 mAh battery.

One nice thing about the device is the price which comes in at a mere $149 and you can get it even cheaper, only $99, if you are willing to go with an Amazon Prime Edition of the smartphone.
