BTmono for Android Lets You Use Your Old Mono BT Headset To Listen To Your Audio

That’s right folks, what happens when an XDA member gets bored?  Something good comes out of it to benefit the Android end user.  Member bedoig has concocted an easy to use application for you to make good use of that old monophonic bluetooth headset that has been sitting in your drawer, like….forever.  BTmono lets you stream your music to a mono headset of your choice just as you would be able to with a stereo BT headset.  So, if you’re a hater of wires and low on cash for a fancy stereo headset, then this should definitely serve as an attractive alternative.  As noted over at XDA, the sound quality isn’t the best yet, but it’s doable.  If you know of any ways to contribute to the app and/or improve its sound quality, then head on over to the XDA thread and get your contribution on.  Let us know what you think of the app in the comments below.

Works perfect with Optimus V and old Motorola H700 earpiece. Just what I was looking for to listen to pod casts and audio books. Awesome!!!
