Google has just released a new version of its Chrome Beta application for Android. The upgrade transports support for the Presentation API as well as compatibility for custom buttons on notifications, which means that developers will be able to embed unique toggles in notifications so that users no longer have to open the apps to complete the tasks.

To install the update on your Android-powered smartphone or tablet, simply open up the Play Store, toggle the hamburger menu by swiping in from the left-hand side of the screen, select ‘My Apps’ and click on ‘Chrome Beta’, then hit the update button. Alternatively, you can hit the link below to initiate the download on your smartphone from the Web.
