On Indiegogo right now is a fully robotic platform that pairs with Android phones and tablets that turns into a complete telepresence robot. The kicker is you can connect remotely to the ORIGIBOT from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection through a secure cloud service. It uses WebRTC technology and offers minimal lag over broadband.

The ORIGIBOT offers a two-way audio and video experience with full control over the robotic arm, gripper and platform. As with all Indiegogo campaigns there are a variety backing price points. If you want the full robotic experience you can drop $329 on an early bird basic ORIGIBOT.

That said, it should be noted the hit or miss track record of hardware crowd-funding campaigns you may want to look at it with a grain of salt. That said, if you're on-board we have a video for you below. Hit the source link if you're interested in dropping $329.
