Along with the inevitable announcement of Samsung's Galaxy S6 potentially as early as this year's CES show, many leaks have attested to a limited edition S6 Edge phone also being released. Now, it appears the S6 Edge might have landed in India for testing.
India is a common testing market for Samsung products, and the fine people over at Galaxy Club have published an import list describing a “Prototype Phone Similar to Galaxy Note 4” with model code SM-G925F. That code corresponds to one of many codes we published for Galaxy S6 models, and some believe the SM-G925F is just the European S6.
However, importation documents tend to be pretty specific with regard to a product's capabilities, and if the device in question were similar to an S5, it would say so, unless, of course, the S6 bumps up to Note 4 dimensions.
The Galaxy S6 Edge is rumored to have dual curved screens, unlike the single curved one on the Note Edge. The Note Edge elicited responses across the spectrum, and it will be interesting to see if Samsung doubles down on curved mobile phone screens in an attempt to shift the market in a different direction.
