Look, I understand, you're tired of hearing these rumors every week about when Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) is officially being announced. We are too, so I sincerely hope that this is the final post I have to make about a possible Gingerbread announcement.
That being said, this latest estimated announcement date (December 6) comes via NotionInk, who is expected to launch their Adam Android tablet just a few days after on December 9th. The possible announcement date comes from a NotionInk blog post where they say the following:
6th December is another big day for Android and you will find out how fast Notion Ink can work. (Eden is extremely compatible with 2.3)
Everything regarding a Gingerbread announcement date up until this point has been pure speculation, and this latest rumor is no exception. We will simply have to wait and see if tomorrow is in fact the big day, so stay tuned.
