With the Huawei Ascend P7 having its time on the market, Huawei is looking at readying its successor. The P8 most likely won't be debuted until next year — earliest suggested time of debut is CES 2015. Even so, the rumored specs have the device as being a pretty solid device.
The device is rumored to have a 5.2-inch 1080p display. The display will feature a 2.5D curved glass, much like the iPhone 6. It will continue to have a metal body with a “porcelain texture” back cover. As far as the processor is concerned the phone might sport a HiSilicon Kirin 930 SoC built on TSMC's 16nm process. It will then be an octa-core processor but clock speeds are unknown.
The phone will be rumored to cost CNY 2,999 ($489 USD ) or €392. That said a lot is unknown about the P7 successor. But as we move through the coming months, I'm sure we'll hear more. Stay tuned!
