We fully expect the Sony Z3 Tablet Compact to be unveiled at IFA 2014 next week in Berlin, but it looks like we have some more information for you earlier than launch, as usual.
In addition to a leaked photo (above) of the tablet paired with Sony's upcoming Android Wear smartwatch, we have some specs for you. (Also of note: the devices above are next to a pool. This could be hinting at water-proofing on both of the devices.)
The tablet has an 8-inch IPS display (1080p resolution) with Sony's Triluminos screen with the X-Reality picture processing engine as well as an additional layer to decrease reflection.
Packed inside we're looking at a Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC chip with a quad-core CPU, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage. A microSD card slot is also probable. The camera will be 8MP with an Exmor RS sensor and LED flash, a 4500-5000mAh battery and LTE, Wi-Fi 801.11ac, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
We'll see if these leaks come true next week, but until then stay tuned for more.

I can’t even tell what’s going on in that picture.
