Samsung screen

It's all but confirmed that the Galaxy S5 will be unveiled at Samsung's “Unpacked” event in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress on Feb. 24.

We recently got a look at the box for the device, and a new leaked image gives us an idea of what the screen and device design will look like.

The picture above shows a 141.7 x 72.5 x 8.2mm screen. The Galaxy S4 is a bit smaller at 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9mm.

The render also doesn't seem to show any sort of fingerprint scanner, but that could always change. Other rumors suggest that the scanner is actually under the screen, which would allow the user to simply press the screen to unlock it.

All we really can confirm as of now is that the S5 will not look like the S4, which resembled the S3 a bit too much, according to critics. We'll know a lot more in just a few weeks.

  1. Stop making them bigger. Keep the galaxy S devices at 5 inch Samsung. You’re pushing me away. Use currently have the S4 and looking towards LG… I still miss a Pure Nexus phone though
