Already late in delivery, Madfinger Games has released some new screenshots for Dead Trigger 2, the sequel to their popular zombie-killing title Dead Trigger. They have also promised to announce the release date on September 19, 2013. In addition to the screenshots, to help keep people at bay while they wait for the title to be available on Android devices, Madfinger has also announced some more details about improvements in this newest iteration of the Dead Trigger series:

  • a new “Hideout” feature and non-player characters that stay with you lending help throughout the game;
  • lots of new advanced graphics features, which was to be expected as the game was highlighted as a title for Tegra 4 devices, notably the Project SHIELD device from NVIDIA;
  • new locations like Shanghai, London, or the desert of Africa;
  • new artificial intelligence for bosses that Madfinger says will ensure the title does not become repetitive;
  • a storyline that is impacted by other players around the world and that even encourages cooperation;
  • the game will be free with no premium content – everything will be available for everyone;
  • the game will be released for Android and iOS, as well as Steam, Mac OS and Facebook platforms.

You can check out the screenshots below while you wait for next week's announcement.
