Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch to be available in five colors

The buzz around the Galaxy Gear smartwatch is starting to heat up. We received word on the specs and now we can tell you what choices you will have for colors. We don't know the catchy names just yet, but Samsung will offer white, orange, grey, black, and white gold.

We previously thought the Galaxy Gear would launch in October, but word is that the white, orange, grey, and black versions will launch the week of September 23rd. The white gold version will launch the following week, and could be an exclusive for certain areas. Of course, this is just a schedule and not necessarily set in stone. Look for more colors as later in the year as well.
