Panasonic Wants a Piece of the Smartphone Action Outside of Japan 4

Panasonic is known for making popular electronics that have been adopted throughout the entire world, and strangely enough the huge electronics manufacturer hasn't offered up its line of smartphones outside of Japan since 2005.

A recent report claims that Panasonic has teamed up with a new marketing firm in Europe that aims to push Android smartphones beginning in spring of next year. Word has it that the outreach wont stop there, and plans are to continue into North America and Asia with hopes to reach annual smartphone sales of 7.5 million by 2015.
