Google Checkout Officially Retired, Google Wallet Now Becomes Starter 4

Google Checkout, we hardly knew ye. Today, Google has announced that Google Checkout will merge with Google Wallet. Considering Google Wallet has gotten plenty of new features in recent months and is already similar to Checkout in many respects, it was only a matter of time before both services combined into one. To the Google Checkout users worried about having to create a new account– have no fear. Google already confirmed you can automatically transition your account to Google Wallet the next time you sign in or make a purchase online.
