Someone at Verizon has leaked a summer catalog due to be released at the end of the month. While it does not have any huge shockers, we finally get a firm(ish) release date for the much leaked and talked about Droid 2. It appears the phone is on track for an August release date. When in August is anyones guess, but since the phone has yet to be officially confirmed or announced I would speculate the date to be in the later part of the month.
This is good news for people who are weary of the Droid X's lack of physical keyboard, size, and locked bootloader. Hopefully Motorola will hear the complaints and decide against locking up the Droid 2 as well. Only time will tell….. or a good leak.
