Pokémon Quest pre-registration page is live on the Play Store 2

Pokémon Quest, if you were wondering, is a free-to-play game where the Pokémon you know and love have turned into cubes that you can befriend to use in your battles. While building your base, you can also decorate it with Pokémon-themed items. I'm sure you noticed the free-to-play tag, and naturally, this means that the game has In-App-Purchases (IAP's), although for the moment there are no details on just how much it will cost.

  • Battle by tapping! When wild Pokémon appear, your Pokémon will battle ferociously and knock them out one after another!
  • Befriend Pokémon to make your unique team! You can use the items you get from your expeditions to befriend more Pokémon or make your Pokémon stronger. Make more buddies to create a team that’s all your own, and head out on more expeditions!
  • Spruce up your base camp with cute decorations!
Your base camp is your home for this adventure, and you can spruce it up however you like with cute and fun decorations! These decorations can also make your expeditions on the island more beneficial

Unusually, it seems that Pokémon Quest will store your game data locally on the device you are using, although you advised to back up to the cloud as often as possible.

You'll need to have a device with 2GB RAM and running Android 4.4 KitKat or higher to play Pokémon Quest. With just a few days to go until the Pokémon Quest game is available from the Play Store, just how excited are you now?
